Can I connect a Mac monitor to a PC?

I have a 17in Apple Multiple Scan 720 monitor, which doesn't have a standard PC monitor connector. Is there any way in which the monitor can be adapted to fit a standard PC?

The signals used by PC and Mac monitors are compatible, so it should certainly be possible to connect your monitor to the PC. If your monitor has BNC coaxial sockets you will need a new cable with a 15-way HD connector at one end, and the requisite number of BNC plugs at the other. If the monitor has a nine-way D-type connector, then you will need a monitor changer to adapt this to the 15-pin HD-type connector on your existing cable.

Maplin Electronics (www.maplin.co.uk) has a wide range of monitor cables and adapters, so it should be able to supply what you need.
